It’s not just a knock on the head.
A student-led field guide for athletes, parents, coaches, and schools navigating sports-related concussion — without the panic, and without the spin.

We're a student-led desk on a single, stubborn beat: concussion in youth sport.
Concussion Coach was founded in response to the real challenges students face after a sports-related concussion — symptoms, recovery, academics, return to play. Our work sits between the medical literature and the locker room.
Three sections.
Education & Resources
Plain-language explainers, sport-specific guides, and printable awareness materials for athletes, parents, and coaches.
School Engagement
We work with schools to promote safer concussion management practices and open conversations around athlete health.
Student Stories
Real recovery experiences from student athletes — to reduce stigma, validate symptoms, and encourage peers to seek help.
The working list.
Increase awareness of how concussions occur and why early recognition matters.
Provide clear, student-friendly information about recovery and support.
Encourage safe reporting instead of “playing through” symptoms.
Help schools and families understand return-to-learn and return-to-play.
Learning about concussions through this site helped me recognize when I had one during a soccer game. I got the proper treatment and recovered fully.
